Beautiful Borders are ingenious templates with which four or five different borders can be embroidered.  Place the template on the front of the card (with tape) and pierce the entire pattern.  Then select the pattern you would like to embroider.  You can also choose to pierce only part of the pattern and make new border motifs yourself.  Pierce the holes using a fine piercing tool and embroider with fine, shiny thread.  The beginning and end of the thread can be adhered to the reverse side of the card with tape.
