How to Shop

Shopping online at Country View Crafts is a very straightforward, however we appreciate that not everyone finds computers and making payments online easy. We hope this guide to shopping at Country View Crafts makes things a little easier and will enhance your experience with us.

Adding Items To Your Shopping Cart

One you have found the products you would like to purchase you need to add them to your Shopping Cart. Once you have added an item to you Shopping Cart you can checkout is that is all you wish to buy or you can continue shopping if you would like to add further items.

Craft items can be added to your Shopping Cart from either the Category Page (the page that displays a number of products on one page) or from the Product Page (the page that displays more detailed product information). Category Pages can be reached from the drop down menues "Choose By Brand" or Choose By Type" and from the menue down the left hand side of all category pages. One you have found the product you want to buy simply click on the "Buy" button on the Category Page or the "Add to Basket" button on the Product Page (see examples below).

Shopping Cart View

If you want to change the quantity of any items you have added to your Shopping Cart you change the number in the "Qty" box and then click on "Update Cart" as in the example below.

If you have a Discount Code from one of our Promotional Offers or someone has bought you some of our very popular Gift Vouchers you can enter the code in the "Enter Discount Coupon Code" box and clicking the "Go" button. The discount should then be applied to your Shopping Cart.

Before you can Checkout you need to select a "Delivery Method" from the drop down list (click the little arrow to the right of the box), this determines where you want your items sent and hence what the shipping charge should be. Shipping to all UK address are free with no minimum order. Shipping costs to Europe, America and Australia are based on weight, however heavy items always attract a very high charge due to variabilty in costs, if you wish to ship a heavy item to one of these destinations please contact us for an accurate quotation.

How To Checkout

Once you have added all of your items to the Shopping Cart, selected a Delivery method and entered any discount code (if applicable) it is time to "Checkout". During Checkout you select your desired payment method, enter invoice and delivery address details and make your secure payment .

The first step in checking out is choosing whether you want to checkout and pay using the "Checkout Button" or the "Google Checkout" button. Clicking the "Checkout" button will alllow you to pay by Paypal Account, by Credit or Debit card processed by Paypal or by Cheque or Postal Order. Clicking the "Google Checkout" button will allow you pay by Credit or Debit card processed by Google.

Paying By Paypal, Credit Card, Debit Card, Cheque or Postal Order

To pay by any of these methods click the "Checkout" button as described above. On the next screen you enter your email address in the top box (NOTE: please ensure you enter your email address correctly otherwise we will be unable to keep you up to date with your order progress). If your are a new customer to Country View Crafts click the "Continue With Checkout" button.

If you are an existing Country View Crafts Customer click the "I am a returning customer, and my password is..." button and enter your password in the bottom box. You can then click the "Continue with Checkout Button".

"I am an existing customer, why can't I log in?" - The most common problem is that returning customers do not enter their email address as well as theor password, BOTH are required for logon. If you have forgotten your password you can reuest that it is sent to your registered email address.

On the next screen new customers can enter a password and your invoice and delivery address details. For existing customers this information should already be populated.

"Why Do I Need to Enter a Password?" - By entering a password that corresponds to your email address the next time you shop with us you won't have to enter the information again. We NEVER disclose your information to anyone else, please see our Terms and Conditions for futher details of our privacy policy.

The final page of this section of the Checkout process gives you the option of paying by Paypal, by Credit Card, by Debit Card or By Cheque, Postal Order.

If you want to pay by Paypal or by Credit Card or Debit Card click on the top button. Credit and Debit card payments are processed by Paypal but you do NOT need a paypal account, they just process the payment. If you want to pay by Cheque or Postal Order click on the bottom button and follow the instructions.

If you clicked on the top button you will be transferred to Paypal's secure site to make your payment. The next screen is split into two halves, on the right side of the screen you can log into your paypal account if you have one. On the left half of the screen you can proceed to pay using your Debit or Credit card by clicking on the "Continue" link as shown in the example below.
